Eventers carry British team hopes in Malmö


  • The 4 riders who will represent Britain in the team competition at the HSBC FEI Eventing European Championships in Malmö have been revealed, following the first horse inspection earlier today.

    The team riders are:

    Izzy Taylor Briarlands Matilda CHIO Aachen 2013

    Izzy Taylor with Mr Guy Avis’s KBIS Briarlands Matilda will ride as an individual

    Unfortunately the final member of the squad, Tom McEwan, will not be riding after his horse Diesel was eliminated at the first trot-up.

    Competition gets underway on Thursday with the first of two days of dressage, followed by cross-country on Saturday and the final nail-biting showjumping rounds on Sunday.
