Equestrian surfaces company Martin Collins has installed its largest all-weather arena to date.
The Ecotrack surface at Dallas Burston Polo Club in Warwickshire — which will be known as the DBPC AllWeather SuperArena — measures 140m by 70m and extends to 2.4 acres.
It will be officially opened on 1 April and can host four-a-side arena polo, as well as other equestrian disciplines.
“We are thrilled that Ecotrack was chosen to surface the DBPC All Weather SuperArena,” said Martin Collins.
“It is certainly by far the single largest arena surface our company has installed anywhere in the world, [and] it is an exciting addition to the UK’s portfolio of permanent venues.”
The surface is more than 20 percent larger than the Ecotrack arena at Windsor, home of Royal Windsor Horse Show, the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Pageant and the 2009 European Show Jumping and Dressage Championships.
