Indoor show jumping championships gets a boost

  • HORSE, Horse & Hound’s sister magazine, has announced it is to sponsor the British Riding Club’s Senior and Junior Novice Indoor Show Jumping Championships for a second year running.

In 2001, qualifying rounds will be held in 23 areas around the country, with the final taking place on April 21-22 at Hartpury College, Gloucestershire.

In 2000, the senior prize was won by Gower Riding Club and the junior title by Ingatestone & Blackmore Riding Club.

Jaki Bell, Editor of HORSE, says: “This is a hotly contested championship and very exciting to be involved in. We’re pleased to be able to support both British Riding Clubs and its members by sponsoring this competition.”
