Girl power at Olympia
Liz Edgar is set to return to the Olympia International Show Jumping Championships in December after an absence of 10 years.
Liz, who gained entry to this year’s event at the Towerlands qualifier in October, has not competed at the famous Christmas Show since 1990.
For her visit to Olympia 2000, Edgar will be riding her own Debutante II, although Liz would be the first to admit that she is not a debutante to the international stage of show jumping.
Sister of former international show jumper David Broome and married to influential trainer Ted, Liz may have been away from Olympia in the last decade but she has never been far from the top level of the sport.
Liz Edgar has a long and distinguished career history includinga record five Queen Elizabeth II Gold Cup titles.
