British show jumping team announced for Europeans


  • The team of show jumpers who will represent Britain at the 2009 Alltech FEI European and Jumping Championships has finally been announced.

    The four riders jumping for Britain will be: Geoff Billington with Patricia Fraser’s Rosinus, Peter Charles with Olga White’s Murka’s Pom d’Ami, Ben Maher with his own and Quainton Stud’s Robin Hood W and Tim Stockdale with John Bosher’s Fresh Direct Corlato.

    The team competition takes place on Friday, 28 August, in the grounds of Windsor Castle.

    And in the lead-up to the European Championships, to keep everyone up to date with Team GB’s preparations, the British team’s performance manager Will Connell will be writing a blog from Windsor.
