Watch the HOYS Search for a Star Cob class
The Search for a Star series was introduced by South Essex Insurance Brokers to give amateur riders an opportunity to compete at HOYS.
It was also set up to identify top-class horses and ponies that may otherwise not get the chance to compete at this level. Classes are offered for show hunters, working hunters, cobs, ponies, riding horses/hacks and riding club show horses.
After the preliminary judging at HOYS, the winners of each class go through to the championship to find the supreme Search for a Star champion.
