Two lucky bidders will win a jumping clinic with renowned trainer Pat Burgess in an online charity auction ending today (Wednesday 2 December).
There are 70 lots to bid on in Hornucopia — an online auction run by Save the Rhino International. The auction marks the charity’s 15th birthday and lots include two half-day jumping clinics.
The clinic with Pat, who was the jumping trainer for the British three-day-event team from 1980-89, will be held in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
Two riders and their horses will stay at Hurcott House the night before the clinic and and lunch will be provided on the day.
Save the Rhino hopes to raise a minimum of £15,000 for rhino conservation in Africa and Asia.
The world’s rhino population faces an imminent threat of extinction, and three of the five species of rhino are listed as critically endangered.
Bidding ends today (Wednesday 2 December) and is currently on £250.
