The new rider for Totilas will be announced next week.
Owner Paul Schockemöhle is reported to have reached an agreement with a German team rider. As yet unidentified the rider will be announced on Tuesday (30 November) at a press conference in Germany.
Mr Schockemöhle has made it clear that he only wants a German rider for Totilas to strengthen the country’s team.
The triple World Equestrian Games gold medal-winning Totilas will be competed from next spring.
