Horse dies after being hit by a car in Horton, Dorset


  • A horse has been killed after being hit by a car in Horton, Dorset

    Dorset Police said they were advised at 5.02pm yesterday (27 November) that a horse had been hit and killed and was obstructing the road outside Drusillas Inn in Horton. Another loose horse was on the road but was unhurt.

    The road was closed temporarily.

    The driver of the red Vauxhall Omega that hit the horse was not injured.

    A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “The one horse had been hit and was totally blocking the road. The other was uninjured. No further information is known about the horse or its owner.”
