New riding stables to open near Swindon

  • A new livery yard and riding school near Swindon will open in August, with the intention of bringing riding to a wider audience.

Buryhill Farm will be the outcome of Jo Sharp and John McDonald’s “Rein and Shine” project, which aims to make the sport more accessible.

“Riding horses can be perceived as being expensive and impenetrable,” said Jo.

“But just like other pastimes it can be very easy and affordable to get started.”

The livery yard will feature American barn stables, a 40×40 arena and a solarium. There will be separate stabling and another outdoor arena for riding school customers.
