William Fox-Pitt pulls out of Badminton Horse Trials
William Fox-Pitt will not be riding at the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials after withdrawing his final ride Ballincoola before the first horse inspection this afternoon.
The 2005 Burghley winner is the third horse William has pulled out of the event, after withdrawing Idalgo earlier this week and 2004 Badminton winner Tamarillo three weeks ago.
French rider’s Jean-Lou Bigot’s ride Icare d’Auzay was held at the trot-up, but passed on re-inspection.
