Mr Polo, the extraordinary 21-year-old show jumping pony, who has helped so many young riders achieve their dreams, is heading off to sunnier climes for his retirement.
His owners, Sharon and Ray Loader are moving to southern Spain and once Polo has contested the 138cm championship at this year’s HOYS with their son, Jake, he will join them.
Mr Polo’s incredible career has seen him win pony European gold and £23,318 in prize money.
