Rachel Davis picked up her ticket to HOYS with Dawn Weston’s Maximillion Rubens in the Show Hunter class at Badgworth.
Two years ago, Dawn went to see a Welsh Section D, but fell in love with this 8-year-old 16.3hh gelding instead.
Qualification was a fabulous birthday surprise for nail technician, Rachel, who described it as “the best birthday ever!”
“Rubens likes people more than other horses and I can’t put into words how brilliant it is that we are going to HOYS! We went to watch last year, and dreamed of riding there. It is so exciting and really hasn’t sunk in yet,” said Rachel.
