Vanessa Lawes and her 6-year-old gelding, Roulade, won the Riding Club Show Horse qualifer at Addington.
Vanessa bought Roulade to event, but is giving him time to mature first. “He is a sweet heart — he hasn’t got a bad bone in his body. He is exactly as he was advertised and exactly what I was looking for!” says Vanessa. “Roulade will make a very lovely eventer as he is very comfortable and has a super jump. “I am thrilled to bits with qualifying for HOYS — he really deserved it and hasn’t put a foot wrong — he is my dream horse!” said a delighted Vanessa. |
