They named after Stacey’s grandfather who was in The Grenadier Guards.“Stacey has such a special bond with Grenadier; he is a once in a lifetime horse,” says Stacey’s mother, Julie.Tully’s Brady, an Irish Draught ridden by Alexie Kirby, picked by the second HOYS ticket.“We went to Ireland to buy him as a birthday present for our daughter, Alexie and as soon as we saw him, we knew that he was the one,” said Victoria Kirby.
