Office manager Nikki Reader qualified Collier for HOYS in the cob section of the Addington Search for a Star qualifier.
This 5-year-old dark brown gelding arrived from Ireland last February in a totally raw state and since then he has come on leaps and bounds. “When he arrived, he was very scared and had no idea how to canter. In the last 3 months, he has turned a huge corner and it is very exciting.” This is a dream come true for Nikki as she has always wanted to ride at HOYS. “It is a brilliant idea from SEIB to give amateur riders this wonderful opportunity as there is no other way that I would get the chance to compete at such a prestigious show”, said Nikki. |
