Meet the SEIB Search for a Star cob finalists

  • Jessica Cook, a student from Derbyshire won the Cob qualifier at Addington with the 15.1hh gelding Spartacus, who is owned by Mill House Animal Sanctuary.

Jessica has fostered 5-year-old Spartacus since he was 6 months old. “He is a real mummy’s boy,” said Jessica.

Having been rescued as a foal with his mother, Spartacus is following her rags to riches example in the show ring. His dam, Calamity Jane, won the Search For A Star Cob Championship at HOYS last year.

“I have not done a lot with him — up until February this year, he was a happy hacker!” said Jessica.
