American endurance riders short-listed for WEG

The United States Equestrian Federation has short-listed the following horse/rider combinations for the endurance competition at the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. The definite entry will be selected from this group prior to the championships.

The horse/rider combinations in alphabetical order are:

  • Melody Blittersdorf riding Synthetic
  • Lindsay Graham riding Monk
  • Ellen Rapp riding Berjo Smokey or SA Belshazzar
  • Deborah Reich riding DJB Juniper
  • Heather Reynolds riding Ssamiam
  • Jeremy Reynolds riding Sir Smith
  • Michele Roush riding Ivanhoes Debutante
  • Margaret Sleeper riding Syrocco Harmony or Syrocco Reveille
  • Ceci Butler Stasiuk riding DJB Cytron Kon JMF
  • Janice Worthington riding Golden Lightning

For some of the riders short-listed to represent the United States in the sport of endurance, the competition will be a family affair; Heather and Jeremy Reynolds are married, while both Jeremy and Ellen Rapp have their identical twins as their grooms.
