Success for Millie Wonnacott at BSPS Summer Championships

  • THIRTEEN-year-old Millie Wonnacott has only just come down from the high after her successes at the British Show Pony Society (BSPS) Summer Championships.

Riding Andrea Boyle’s cracking working hunter pony, My Blue Eyed Boy, Millie collected the first ever Noble Bing working hunter supreme, sponsored by Anthony D Evans Insurance Brokers, which carried a £1,000 first prize.

“It’s amazing money for showing,” said Millie’s mother Claire. “You’d expect that sort of prize in a good showjumping class. Mind you, Andrea will spend it all on the pony — bless him, he doesn’t want for anything!”

En route to the top prize, Millie won four classes — the HOYS 133cm, the open 133cm, performance WHP and Gold Cup WHP — and two championships, the Gold Cup and the open.
