Don’t miss your chance to support the ILPH and get half-price tickets to this year’s Olympia Show Jumping Championships

A visit to the Olympia International Show Jumping Championships (19-23 December) is an ideal way to get into the Christmas spirit and, with some half-price tickets available, enjoying this festive event needn’t break the bank.

The International League for the Protection of Horses (ILPH) is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year and, as Olympia’s official charity of 2002, will receive 50p from all tickets purchased for the evening session on Thursday 19 December if the ILPH is mentioned during the booking.

As well as benefiting the ILPH, by quoting ILPH during the transaction individuals can claim a 50% discount on their tickets.

The evening’s top class entertainment will feature the daredevil Flying Csikos from Hungary performing breathtaking high speed stunts and the Metropolitan Mounted Police demonstrating their horses skills and bravery in an electrifying display including jumping through fire.

The evening performance opens with the Pony Club Mini-Major classwhere Pony Club members pair with international show jumping stars to contest a fast and furious relay competition, while after the interval, top show jumpers will be contesting the Christmas Stakes jump off class for a prize fund of £8,000.

Olympia favourites include the Shetland Pony Grand National and the Pedigree Dog Agility, while the ILPH’s Bob the Cob is expected to join Father Christmas in the show’s traditional finale.

Discount tickets areavailable until 9 December, subject to availability, only via the telephone hotline (tel: 0870 733 0733). Just mention the “ILPH” to claim the discount. Tickets are subject to a £1 booking fee per ticket.
