    Since launching our “Real Horse of the Year” competition earlier this year, we have been inundated with moving stories about your amazing equine friends.

    Although it has been difficult to choose between your extraordinary stories, we have now short-listed six horses from which the HHO “Real Horse of the Year” will be chosen.

    Flicker – a palomino 15.1hh part-bred Arab gelding survived a horrific head-on accident with a car, before being placed at the Royal Highland show just 10 weeks later. Click here to read his story.
