Andrew Dufton, a groom and RDA helper at Middleton Park EC, Yorkshire, was delighted to discover that he has been selected to join the British International Dressage Squad.

A disabled rider, with a passion for dressage, he now has his sights set on making the 2004 Paralympic Team.

Twenty-six-year-old Andrew has trained and worked at Middleton Park Equestrian Centre for 10 years, and has been competing in dressage at National Championship level for seven years.

His current ride is the centre’s 16.3hh gelding Desert Storm, who will be accompanying Andrew to his first team training session in June.
