Pony Club helps train the trainers


  • Instructors of all levels can gain expert training advice at the Pony Club’s forthcoming seminars

    The Pony Club is to host the seminar, “Training the Show Jumping Rider” with guest speakers Captain Mark Phillips; British Eventing’s Young Rider Trainer Gill Watson and Burghley winner Jane Wallace.

    The seminar will take place at West Wilts Equestrian Centre on Monday, May 20 and Blackdyke Equestrian Centre on Monday, June 10.

    Compered by Nikki Herbert, both seminars will start at 10.30a.m and finish around 4pm.

    BHS Registered Instructors will be allowed to use their attendance at one of these dates as their Refresher Course. Attendance can also be used as 10 hours towards the 500 hours required to complete the Preliminary Instructor qualification.

    Instructors should apply through their local branch of the Pony Club.
