Amateur jockeys who want to ride under Rules are being invited to a training seminar at Cheltenham racecourse on Tuesday, 10 July.

The seminar is one of three run by the British Racing School each year. Other venues are Haydock and Newmarket.

Each of the jockeys will get a chance to go on a mechanical horse, Equicisor, and have their racing style assessed by a jockey coach.

A steward will take participants throughthe rules, regulations and behaviour of racing, and the day will also including a lecture from eventing and show jumping trainer, Yogi Breisner.

A few places are still available for the July seminar, costing £75 each.
