Ireland’s top show jumper Jessica Kurten has informed selectors she will not be available to compete for her country at this summer’s Olympics.

Jessica, 38, is currently ranked world number two in show jumping and is waiting to appeal her two-month suspension from competition by the FEI in the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

She competed for Ireland in the Atlanta Olympic Games in 1996 and at Athens in 2004.
