Britain’s reining team win first FEI medal at European Championships


  • Britain’s reining team won their first medal in international competition last weekend, at the International Equestrian Federation’s European Reining Championships in Kreuth, Germany.

    Doug Allen (Just Gotta Shine), Lee Rutter (Santa Cruz Whiz) and Tammy Greaves (Jac Wonders Who) took bronze in the championships, which ran from 8-11 October.

    New AQHA UK champion Lee posted the squad’s highest score of 216.5 on his UK team debut.

    Germany won gold for the second time and Belgium took silver.

    Twenty eight competitors took part in the competition, with seven teams plus individual riders from France and Poland.
