World Equestrian Games jumping teams round-up

  • The United States are looking on form to pick up a team showjumping medal on home soil at the FEI Alltech World Equestrian Games in Kentucky.

    Their team includes some extremely talented combinations, but don’t expect them to have it all their own way, as, in addition to the British squad, the Swiss, Germans and Dutch will all be fighting for a place on the podium.

    United States team

    • Mario Deslauriers and Urico

    The reserve is Candice King and Skara Glen’s Davos.

    German team

    • Marcus Ehning and Plot Blue

    • Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum and Checkmate
    • Carsten-Otto Nagel and Corradina

    Janne-Friederike Meyer is the reserve with Cellagon Lambrasco.

    Dutch team

    • Harrie Smolders and Exquis Walnut de Muze
