WEG-bound Tina Fletcher and Hello Sailor on winning form

  • World Equestrian Games-bound Tina Fletcher has boosted Team GB medal hopes with a win on her final outing before heading to the competition in Kentucky.

Tina and Lady Harris’s Hello Sailor secured a decisive win at the Royal County of Berkshire Show last weekend (Sunday 19 September) in the final leg of the British Showjumping Business Partnership International Stairway.

The pair jumped the only double clear over Steve William’s testing 1.60m course to earn themselves the top spot.

Although Tina won the final leg of the competition, Helen Tredwell and Opportunity B took the overall 2010 British Showjumping Business Partnership International Stairway title. The combination led from the beginning of the series following their win at Devon County Show on 20 May.

The series aims to identify potential British Team members running across nine of the largest county shows in the UK, boasting a £60,000 prize fund.
