Prizes for Arko all round


  • BSJA President, John Hales – owner of the world famous stallion Arko III – has been made 2005 FEI Owner of the Year. Hales will receive the award at the CSIO5* Rome this weekend, in recognition of being the most successful owner in FEI Jumping Competitions last year.

    Meanwhile the 12 year-old Arko III and his rider Nick Skelton won the FEI Best Horse and Rider Combination in jumping competitions – for the second consecutive year. During 2005, the pair jumped double clear rounds in Super League Nations Cup competitions in Rome and Dublin and were runners-up at the Las Vegas World Invitational. Arko III has won over £635,000 and was named the British Show Jumping’s 2005 Nations Cup Horse and 2005 Leading Horse
