Belgian vet, Michel Heyvaert, has joined the BSJA as international team vet
Top international vet, Michel Heyvaert, is the BSJA’s new international team vet, in partnership with the British Equestrian Federation.
The Belgian has been an FEI vet for 14 years and has been the official FEI vet at a number of international shows.
“I am delighted to have recruited someone of Michel’s ability. He will bring a cutting edge of veterinary knowledge and will be a great asset to our team,” said world class performance manager Derek Ricketts, who leads the BSJA support team.
Michel’s first assignment will be an assessment of all the horses long-listed for the World Equestrian Games, in early April.
