New BSJA chairman elected

International course-designer and show organiser peter Gillespie has been elected as the new chairman of the BSJA.
Peter, who with his wife Joanna, a BSJA area representative, runs Vicarage Farm centre in Middlesex, was the instigator of the BSJA premier Show grand prix series.
Peter expressed his views to the Executive Board, saying:¨I am involved with many aspects of show jumping, from show organisation through to course designing, meeting competitors at all levels both at home and abroad.
¨The past five years of working on BSJA committees have given me valuable experience and knowledge that will assist me in my role as chairman of the association.¨
