Michele Alcroft banned by BSJA following cruelty charge


  • Michele Alcroft, who was banned from keeping horses for cruelty, has been suspended from membership of the BSJA for five years.

    Michele Alcroft of Mytchett, Camberley pleaded guilty on 5 November to five charges of causing unnecessary suffering to three ponies and was banned from keeping horses for 10 years by Guildford magistrates.

    Now the BSJA has fined Mrs Alcroft £500 and severely reprimanded and cautioned her as to her future conduct.

    She was also suspended from all rights and privileges of BSJA membership for five years by the BSJA on 4 January.
