H&H Foxhunter at Arena UK


  • Geoff Luckett and Sinault claimed the Horse & Hound Foxhunter qualifier at Arena UK after setting an unassailable target.

    Amanda Edwards took the second ticket with Cotton Candy in her first attempt at qualification this year. Claire Robertson had to settle for third place.

    The Petplan Newcomers second round attracted 117 starters, with the Irish taking the two tickets to the Horse of the Year Show. Anthony Condon headed affairs with Sue Davies and Jeanette Chin’s Ballade, with Dave Quigley narrowly behind on Charles Britton’s Wandela Van Het Lambroek

    William Whitaker took the £500 winner’s purse in the High Offley Stud 1.30m on Insultech Leonardo.

    The first day’s Easibed 1.40m was claimed by Lee Williams and Linaro 18, while course-builder Di Boddy’s son Matt won Saturday’s accumulator on Peter Street.
