Fuchs out for five weeks

  • WORLD number one show jumper Markus Fuchs, who aggravated a thigh muscle injury at Geneva, has been ordered to take a break from competition and will be out of shows for five weeks.

The Swiss star’s horses will be ridden instead by young rider Faye Schoch, a double pony European individual gold medallist and winner of team gold and individual silver at the 2003 junior Europeans.

Markus is hoping to be back in the saddle in time for the Zurich CSI at the end of January.
