Horse & Hound is sponsoring the British Isles Showing Championship at Royal Windsor next month
Horse & Hound is to sponsor the flagship British Isles Showing Championship at this year’s Royal Windsor Horse Show (15-19 May).
This championship takes place under floodlights during the final performance of this year’s show and is open to the British Isles cob, hunter, hack, show pony and riding horse winners from earlier in the show programme.
This unique competition was first held in 2000 and aims to find the true showing champion of champions.
Eligible horsesare height or weight section winners from the hunter, hack, cob, riding horse and open show pony from Royal Windsor, Royal Highland (where applicable) and Royal Welsh 2000, Royal Dublin 2000 or 2001, and the Horse of the Year Show 2001.
The competition carries an overall prize-fund of £6,700, with the overall champion and reserve taking home £3,000 and £1,500 respectively.
