Tack
- Handles on saddles are not allowed
- Snaffle bridles for Leading Rein, First Ridden, Novice Show Ponies, N/I show riding, N/I SH and Heritage Novice Ridden
- Bitless bridles and running gags are not to be worn
- Any suitable bridles can be worn in WHP classes and Heritage First Ridden classes (except bitless and running gags)
- Martingales may be worn
- Any nosebands may be used
Shoeing
- May compete unshod
- Plain boots can be worn in WHP/WH classes
- Boots may not be worn in any other classes
- No bandages or protective pads are to be worn on legs or feet
- Shoes must be of normal shape and must not cover the frog
- Plastic stick-on shoes which have an open heel are allowed
- Bar shoes are not permitted
Turnout
- Unless hogged, manes must be plaited with the exception of M&M and part bred Heritage type classes
