One of the country’s top Shire horse establishments is up for sale.
Brickfields Horsecountry, near Ryde, Isle of Wight, is being sold by owners Phil and Pam Legge, who established the business in 1983.
The property, which has yet to be valued, could fetch a seven-figure sum.
Last year, Brickfields attracted record 80,000 visitors and has earned a reputation as the focal point for the island.
Mr Legge said: ” We feel it is time to move on to other things, but Brickfields will continue to run as normal until a buyer is found and it is hoped that an island family might be interested in taking up the reins. “
