Rhapsody crowned RIHS Show Hunter Pony champion

Chloe Willet and Fairholme Rosettas Rhapsody upheld their unbeaten record this afternoon, with a win in the Sandal-BMW Supreme Show Hunter Championship at Hickstead. The reserve champion prize was presented to Langfield Flip Dragon, a 140 cm pony ridden by Ellen Meekins.

Earlier today Fairholme Rosettas Rhapsody was crowned 13hh Show Hunter Pony Champion. The striking chestnut gelding went on to catch the judge’s eye in the international arena this afternoon, receiving the Show Hunter crown.

According to Mr Willet, Chloe’s father, Rhapsody is “a real character” and has qualified for the Horse of the Year Show (Hoys) six times this season. Chloe has been riding Rhapsody for the last three years and the pair hunt with the West Kent in winter.

Langfield Flip Dragon and Ellen Meekins were winners of the 14hh Show Hunter Pony Championship in Ring 5 earlier this morning. The pair qualified for RIHS at the Area 15a show and have also qualified for Hoys.
