Ponies (UK) southern show cancelled

  • Ponies (UK) has cancelled its southern show at Newbury Showground due to a decision by Newbury Agricultural Society not to allow any events until June. The association has said that all entry fees will be refunded.

A limited programme of classes has been organised to take place at the College Equestrian Centre, Keysoe, Beds, on Monday, 7 May. The schedule will be available after 1 April and will include the HOYS qualifiers that were to take place at the southern show. Entries will only be taken on the day.

Ponies (UK) is encouraging its members to be extra vigilant and familiarise themselves with the guidelines of the Ministry of Agriculture. The Association has stated that enabling selected activities to take place at this difficult time will help to protect the equestrian economy.
