Johnny Weatherby is Queen’s new Ascot representative

  • Weatherby’s chairman Johnny Weatherby is to succeed the Duke of Devonshire as The Queen’s representative at Ascot.

    The Duke of Devonshire will stand down following this year’s Royal Meeting (14-18 June).

    The Duke has been one of three trustees at Ascot since 1982 and became Her Majesty’s representative in 1997.

    Mr Weatherby will be the fifth person to hold the position during The Queen’s reign. He has been a trustee at Ascot since 1997 and chairman of Ascot Authority Holdings Limited since 2008.
