Get your career off to a racing start

The National Stud Fair, to be held on 2 and 3 December, will host a careers bureau set up to give practical advice on how to train for employment on a stud or racing yard.

Representatives from The British Stud Staff Training Scheme, British Racing School and British Horseracing Training Board will be on hand to answer questions, with staff from West Oxfordshire College and Writtle College also in attendance.

Carol is an experienced journalist and editor, who is also a passionate amateur rider and dedicated horse owner, having ridden since childhood. She has a particular interest in the emotional well-being and ethical training of horses, alongside veterinary matters, having garnered extensive first-hand experience of numerous equine health conditions through more than 30 years of horse ownership.
