Zara Phillips tries her hand at City trading

Zara Phillips will be among the stars taking part in a celebrity fundraising day at Canary Wharf, London tomorrow (11 September).

More than 120 famous faces from Hollywood, sport and television will turn their hand to City trading, helping brokers execute deals for international brokerage firm BGC partners.

Equestrianism will be well-represented, with top national hunt and flat jockeys AP McCoy and Kieren Fallon, and nine-times champion trainer Sir Michael Stoute also signed up.

Alongside the equestrians on the trading floor will be Manchester United football manager Sir Alex Ferguson, actor/director Kevin Spacey and triple Olympic gold medal-winning sailor Ben Ainslie — and many other big names.

All revenue from the day’s trading will go to a number of charities.
