Young showjumpers win at Nations Cup in Belgium
Britains young showjumpers had a successful trip to Moorsele, Belgium, yesterday (Sunday 16 May), taking first prize with both the pony and young riders teams at the Nations Cup.
The winning pony team, made up of Lara Whiteway, Laura Robinson, Amy Ingles, Jessica Mendoza, finished ahead of Belguim in second and France in third.
The young riders — Emily Davies, Joe Davison, Philippa Dobby and Sam Hutton — won in a jump off against The Netherlands while Italy finished third.
Seven of the eight British riders jumped a clear round in one of the two sections.
