Visitor numbers up at this year’s BETA International
Visitor numbers were up by more than 400 at this year’s British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) International trade fair (20-22 February).
A total of 4,839 visitors arrived at the show at the NEC, Birmingham, attracted by international exhibitors, industry awards, seminars, and appearances by Monty Roberts and actor Martin Clunes.
It was the highest attendance in three years.
“We are delighted with visitor figures, which are very much in line with our earlier predictions and a fantastic endorsement of the show,” said Claire Thomas, commercial manager of BETA International organiser EMC.
“The trade fair has once again provided the perfect platform for business and networking, and we would like to thank all the exhibitors and visitors who played their part in making it so special.”
The 2012 show will be staged at the NEC from 19 to 21 February.
