    These riders may be a little bit too old to be members of the Pony Club. Three teams of four international riders battled it out to win the International “Riders” Pony Club Games, with the British all male team the eventual winners.

    International visitors

    Hungary’s daredevil Flying Csikos wowed the crowds at every performance. Dressed in their traditional costumes, they demonstrated their unique bond they develop with their horses.

    One to watch

    The highly rated stallion Arko, ridden by Nick Skelton (backcompeting at Olympia for the first since breaking his neck) takes part in the Double Your Money class.

    The Metropolitan Police demonstrate their all-round skillswhile popping a fence.

    The new shopping village proves a massive hit with the show’s visitors as they cram in some last minute Christmas shopping .

    Tension mounts

    A packed auditorium awaits the start of the big class of the day. The Champagne Tatinger Christmas Cracker with a first prize of £16,500 sees some of the world’s leading riders compete head to head.
