Showing rider Lynn Russell signs H&H transport campaign

Showing rider Lynn Russell is the latest rider to sign up to our “stop the transport madness” petition.

In April the Vehicle Operator Services Agency (VOSA) banned anyone with a full-time job driving an HGV lorry on both days at the weekend (news, 2 April).

“The situation is a nightmare at the moment,” said Lynn. “The information we get is confusing and is causing total mayhem. Transport regulations are yet another thing stacked against the horseworld.”

So far, 4,460 people have signed the petition — but we need 95,000 more. As well as adding your name on our website, you can also print off a PDF of the voucher printed in last week’s issue, to take to shows and rallies or to pin to your noticeboards.
