Second national Hunter Trials launched


  • With more than 4,000 riders enjoying the inaugural BHS Hunter Trials series, many leisure riders will be please to hear the society will be running the competition again next year.

    The BHS national hunter trials championship will begin on March 4, with a qualifying event at Weston Park in Norfolk. More than 30 other qualifiers have been confirmed from around the country, and more events are expected to be announced during the year.

    The final will be held at Offchurch Bury near Leamington Spa on 18-19 August.

    Each qualifier will involve three classes. They will be a 2ft 9ins individual class sponsored by Dodson & Horrell, a 3ft 3ins individual class sponsored by Aerborn, and a pairs class, run over the smaller course, sponsored by South Essex Insurance Brokers.
