The 18th Cartier Polo World Cup takes place on a frozen lake in St Moritz, Switzerland
One of the highlights of the polo winter season, the Cartier Polo World Cup, takes place on 24-27 January on the frozen lake of St Moritz.
Four teams with handicaps of up to 20 will take part, including leading contender and last year’s winner Team Cartier, comprising Adriano Agosti (0), Jack Kidd (4), Jose Donoso (7) and Marcos Di Paolo (8).
Newcomers to the prestigious event are Team Leading Winter Events, lead by the Italy’s Edoardo Romeo (1) and fellow countryman Oscar Carona (3), who are accompanied by Argentinian stars Lucas Monteverde (7) and Lucas Criado (9).
