Eight pantomime horses from across London and the home counties are taking part in a 100 metre charity race in Regents Park today (Wednesday 10 December). The festive event has been organised by the Hungry Horse pub chain to raise money for cancer information service, CancerBACUP.

The charity race will be started by Britain’s point-to-point lady’s champion of the past four years, Polly Gundry, at 11am and the organisers are hopeful that one of the entries will break the current world record of 16.7 seconds.
