Niki Ryan, wife of Olympic eventer Matt, and Ruy Fonseca, an international eventer from Brazil, are setting up an international equestrian training and schooling facility.
On 1 January, 2001, Niki and Ruy (pronounced Hoy) will launch the newfacility in Chedworth, near Cirencester, Glos.
The establishment has the facilities for up to 40 horses in work, including a 40m x 60m all weather arena, gallops, cross-country course and schooling paddock, and outdoor grass show jumping arena.
The partnership intends to specialise in breaking, rider tuition, schooling and producing horses to compete in three-day-events and show jumping at international level.
Hopes are that the centre will also attract riders requiring a professional UK competition base.
